PicBand is dedicated to provide image forum/gallery index service. To facilitate and speed up user's experience of visiting all sorts of image forums/galleries and collecting images, PicBand provides wonderous software which can save your time and energy on surfing those image forums/galleries and building up your own image libraries.
PX
"PX" originates from the word "Pixel", which stands for the basic unit point in an image. At PicBand.com, "PX" is the basic unit of credits for users to acquire various services from PicBand.com.
How to get PX
When a user buy one copy of the standard license of PicBand Image Downloader, he/she will be gifted 1000PX credit.
You can export your task files and submit to PicBand.com. The task file should be unique in that the website cannot be found in current "Forum Index" at PicBand.com. Once the task file is reviewed and approved by PicBand.com, it will be listed in "Forum Index". After every 2 downloads by other users, you will get 1 PX. The maximum PX you can get from this is 50PX.
You can buy PX in batches of 1000PX when necessary.(Service available upon request, non-refundable)
PX cannot be transferred from one account to another account.
When to spend PX for services
50PX - To generate a task file for you. You can ask customer support to generate the task file for the web/forum which you want to download pictures from. 50PX will be deducted from your PicBand account. If PicBand Image Downloader can download images from the web/forum, the task file is generated and sent to you. If the task file cannot be generated, the 50PX will be returned to your PicBand account.
PicBand.com already offers task file downloading at "Forum Index" with lower cost.
You can always edit task by yourself.
1PX - To download a task file from "Forum Index" at PicBand.com. We maintain a growing directory "Forum Index" which list forums/galleries on Internet, with task files for each forums/galleries. For most task files, you can download at the cost of 1PX. A few task files which are hard to generate may cost more PXes.
